The Original TurboS-10
March 10, 2010:
I don't know where the time goes. Seems like it's been a couple days since I have updated the site and it's been months! Things are going better than ever and we have been making tons of progress on a few of our long term projects. So there will be many new products released this year for your enjoyment! Many of you have been DEMANDING the 4.3l kit pictures, video's, etc... we changed the design to a small TWIN turbo set up half way through development so we don't have any media ready yet but it's coming soon. This is our priority right now and it will be worth the wait!!! The 2.2l Stage 1 Raffle is going to be conducted soon despite the lack of ticket sales. I will be announcing a two week last call any day now so that any scragglers can purchase tickets at the last minute and the kit will be raffled off sometime in April at the latest. We are extremely busy right now and probably will be for another 6 weeks or so. Please don't be insulted or discouraged if we don't answer the phone or reply to your email right away! Your business is very important to us and we are operating on a first come first serve basis. If you are ready to order leave a message saying so and we will immediately get back to you to get your order processed. If you have questions then leave a message asking them and we will get back to each and every one of you shortly! Thanks for your patience, we appreciate your business!
August 12, 2009:

June 8, 2009:
Over the weekend we conducted extensive testing and tuning that landed us with 15psi and about 375hp to the wheels based on data logging information. This setup still has room for improvement even without raising the boost level and we will still eventually be tuning for 30psi. So far we are only running our standard crate engine, stage 1 turbo kit, upgraded intercooler, larger injectors, and HP Tuners reflash. We will be adding an upgraded tubular exhaust manifold, oil catch can, more boost, and dyno tuning within the next week to try to reach 400+ hp. We will also be returning to the track attempting to pull off some 12 second passes on the 17th. As it sits right now we can reach 90mph in less than 10 seconds! It took the full quarter mile and 15.5 seconds to do that just a couple weeks ago!
April 29, 2009:
The original turboS-10 is back up and running! On Wednesday night we returned to the track to get a base idea of its potential and were mighty pleased! Despite datalogging problems which ended our tuning capabilities and the lack of oxygen due to Bandimere Speedways near 6000 ft elevation we were still able to produce the original turboS-10's official quickest pass of 15.3 @ 88mph and fastest 1/4 mile speed of 90mph on only 7.8lbs of boost. After comparing some data files from lower elevation testing it is evident that in 3rd gear alone there is room for 1.5 seconds of improvement which translates into a high 13 second quarter mile on only 8psi of boost! All of this performance is being produced with our standard "Built Engine" package and "Stage 1" turbo kit. Considering that we will be tuning for 30psi of boost in the next couple of weeks and traveling to tracks at lower elevation things should get exciting! Also something to keep in mind is that this is NOT our race truck, it's merely our show truck! V8's beware... Video's, Timeslips, and Data Files coming soon!
April 28, 2009:
TurboS-10.com is now offering HP Tuners computer reflashing for all 96 and newer GM vehicles. We have complete control over ALL obd2 ecu, vcm, or pcm functions. This tuning software has helped us produce 300hp on just 10psi of boost with our 2.2L Stage 1 turbo kit and Built Engine package!!! However, we can help even the smallest modifications make more horsepower too!
Spread the word! We still have quite a few raffle tickets available! Also we have added a 2nd place cold air intake and a 3rd place sheet metal radiator support to the raffle which will be given away in addition to the grand prize 2.2L Stage 1 Turbo Kit.
Many new pictures and video's will be uploaded to the website in the next couple of days... among others we now have a larger upgraded intercooler for the 2.2L Turbo Kits as well as larger fuel injectors readily available!
March 10, 2009:
The raffle for the 2.2L stage 1 turbo kit is officially underway! The tickets are $10 a piece. There will only be 260 tickets sold so that means each ticket has a 260:1 odd of winning. These are extremely good chances to win a great product! The raffle will not be conducted until all 260 tickets are sold but we have a large interest in the raffle and don't expect it to drag out more than a few months. For full details or to purchase your tickets email info@dts2.net.
February 13, 2009:
turboS-10 is considering raffling off a 2.2L stage 1 turbo kit!!! Tickets would be between $10-$20 a piece. We need to know how many people would be interested to participate in such a raffle and how many tickets each person would be willing to purchase. Please send us an email to info@dts2.net if you are interested.
December 3, 2008:
We have been tinkering with the new 4:2:1 header for normally aspirated engines for a few months now and it is pretty amazing. We have never seen anything other than nitrous or boost wake up the 2.2L engine the way that the new header does. There is a nice surge of power @ 3000 RPM's that you can really feel. The engine that we were testing on has extremely low compression (for boost) and @ 4000 RPM already put down more horsepower than a stock 2.2L puts down at redline! With a good intake tube, Patriot Performance cylinder head, and our 4:2:1 header there is no doubt that 150-160 wheel horsepower is possible. These exhaust systems are officially for sale. The two part header and collector will be priced at $800.00. Be the first to have one and save money by buying our used prototype for $600.00!
November 16, 2008:
turboS-10 will be advertising in sport truckin, mini truckin, and truckin magazines throughout the entire upcoming 09 year! Look for us starting with the "February" issue of sport truckin which comes out early December. Additional advertising in several other magazines will begin in the next couple of months.
turboS-10 will be attending the Performance Racing Industry trade show in Orlando Florida December 11th, 12th, and 13th to check out all of the newest and high tech racing products. I can almost gaurantee that this show will cause a number of improvements to the turboS-10 product line. It always does! David, Emily, and Charlie will also be remaining in southern Florida for several days following the show to meet with any local customers for tuning, tips, and bench-racing. Call Emily at 970-493-0459 for details
New pictures have been added to the installation instructions. The instructions should be completely revamped with all of the new pictures inserted in the next few days.
Plus we have a ton of pictures for the Rides section to update. We are "caught up" for the first time in months so hopefully we can knock out all of the to do lists that have been pileing up before we get overloaded with orders again.
August 8, 2008:
Finally got the blue truck up and running recently... traction bars, drop kit, built engine, Patriot "vortech" cylinder head and all!!! Plus the new 4:2:1 manifold is installed and is amazing. Even without the turbo this engine package sucks so much air that it completely runs out of fuel around 4500 RPM with stock injectors. Additional fuel is absolutely NECESSARY. Which can only mean one thing. More Horsepower! So the dyno results should be increadible for a N/A 2.2L. I know you guys are always feening for more info and I appolagize for the websites slow progress. Things are progressing so fast and sales are through the roof so its almost impossible to keep up with everything. Website updates are coming and if you have sent in pictures of your truck they will be posted along with all dyno results from the next couple of weeks.
April 5, 2008:
The newest pictures of the Stage 1 Turbo Kit have now been posted. These pictures show all of the current components that you will recieve for just $2625.00 Shipped!!
March 24, 2008:
Phase 1... In order to get every bit of performance out of the stage 1 kit I have started preparing the chasis for extreme horsepower. The truck already has a posi rear end, Nitto 555R drag radials, and a carbon fiber driveshaft. In the next couple of weeks I will be installing Competition Engineering ladder bars (fancy traction bars). A Competition Engineering crossmember. A Prothane polyurethane master bushing kit. A Belltech front sway bar. Hopefully a Belltech rear sway bar (may not be compatible with the ladder bars). As well as, a complete Belltech 5 inch drop kit.
To make the truck look the part of a serious street threat I will also be installing a cowl induction hood, steel roll pan, sport truck mirrors, and a triple gauge pod. Once all of these modifications have been completed the engine transplant will begin. More info and pictures coming soon!
December 5, 2007:
Anyone up for a little competition??? The "Ride of the Moment" has been initialized! If you have pictures of your truck that you think deserve some spot light then send them in along with any relevent info to Rides@dts2.net. If your truck is chosen it will imediately replace the current "Ride of the Moment" and stay on the turboS-10 home page until another worthy picture is submitted. All pictures submitted will be posted in the "Rides" section of the website wether they are chosen for "Ride of the Moment" or not. Feel free to submit as many pictures as you like as often as you want... If your picture is removed/defeated from "Ride of the Moment" then go out, take better pictures, resubmit them, and conquer the competition! Think of it as a virtual car show. This competition is as much about the overall picture as it is about the quality of your truck so get creative... find some interesting background shots and some unique angles. After all, these are the most poplular mini-trucks on the road. Let's show everyone why!
